i was lead to believe that the gray continuum cover was the vinyl cover but its actually a plain white album.

Continuum is arguably the best album John Mayer has ever put out, and one of my absolute favorite of all time. I can honestly say every song on the album is a pleasure to listen to, and several of them could have been released as singles. The difference between this album and previous albums of John Mayer is that he wrote and performed music that HE actually liked, not pop-rock songs that teenage girls like. The bluesy, soulful approach he took on this album makes it an unmatched treasure that lets you peek into the deepest recesses of Mayer's tortured mind. Get this album if you don't already have it, and listen to it in your car late in a summer evening with the windows down. John will either give you the reassurance that you're not the only person in the world without someone to hold, or make you thankful for what you have and hold on even tighter to the love of your life.

I am a recent John Mayer fan, and this is one of two albums I purchased. He is extremely talented, and I really enjoy his lyrics. I plan to buy all of his CDs based on how much a I am enjoying this one and Room for Squares.

Great music!!! If you're a John Mayer fan you will find yourself liking every song. But PLEASE BE AWARE if you are planning to download the MP3 version of this CD, that on the MP3 ALBUM the song "Say" is not included! So Amazon is basically forcing you to pay an extra $1.29 to download the 13th song. THAT SUCKS!!! Nice way to rip off your customers, Amazon!
